Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

Originally formed in 1881 in an amalgamation of Scottish regiments during the Childers Reforms, a Victorian restructuring of the army. Today they exist as a battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. When an independent regiment the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were known for having the largest cap badge in the British Army.
