Royal Scots Dragoon Guards

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards was formed in 1971 from three other regiments: the 3rd Carabiniers, the 3rd Dragoon Guards, and The Royal Scots Greys, through which it has a claim to being the oldest surviving Cavalry Regiment of the Line in the British Army. The regiment is famous for its Pipes and Drums, who have had worldwide success with Number 1 singles in Britain, Ireland, Australia and South Africa.
