St Edward's

St Edward's

Founded in central Oxford in 1863, St Edwards was one of a number of schools established by the Rev'd. Thomas Chamberlain. It moved to its present location in Summertown in 1873, where it has the second largest quad in Oxford, after the Great Quad at Christ Church. The school is known for its sporting prowess excelling in rugby, hockey and rowing, and maintains a strong rivalry with nearby Radley College.
