101st Airborne Division

One of the most famous US Army divisions, ‘the Screaming Eagles’ have seen service in Vietnam, Kosovo and both Gulf wars. However, most prominent, perhaps, was their involvement in many of the greatest engagements of the Second World War. Their paratroopers played a key role in the liberation of Europe, seeing action in Operation Market Garden, the Battle of the Bulge, and, of course, the D-day assault on Normandy.
